The Secular Coalition Announces the 2013 Lobby Day & Secular Summit

The Secular Coalition is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2013 Lobby Day and Secular Summit!

Lobby Day will be held on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., from April 24 through April 26, 2013. A discounted registration rate is available for those who book before February 15.

Participants will be trained in lobbying skills that they will be able to put to use immediately and take home with them to effect change at the state and local levels. In conjunction with Lobby Day, the Secular Summit will offer participants an opportunity to hear directly from lawmakers, officials and others responsible for setting public policy. Finally, on the day following Lobby Day and Secular Summit, the Center for Inquiry is hosting a symposium with many notable speakers and is offering a discounted registration rate to Lobby Day participants.

You won't want to miss this opportunity to effect change, network with other secular-minded Americans and activists, and visit D.C. during one of the most beautiful times of year. Register, see the preliminary schedule, book a discounted hotel rate, and get more information at the Lobby Day site.

Also, the Secular Coalition has begun planning its second Capitol Hill briefing. The event, to take place in March 2013, will be the Secular Coalition's first-ever briefing for Senate offices. More information to follow as it becomes available--so stay tuned!
